Gum Arabic, sesame & coffee exports

Gum Arabic (E414) is a natural emulsifier, stabiliser and soluble fibre. Beverage makers use it to keep flavour oils in suspension; confectioners use it for texture and glazing; pharmaceutical and cosmetic producers use it as a binder and coating. It is also used in printing, lithography and textiles.

We buy from collectors and cleaning plants in the producing regions, check each lot, and ship it with a certificate of analysis covering moisture, ash, acid-insoluble matter, viscosity, optical rotation and microbiology, tested against JECFA or your own specification. The main collection season runs roughly from November to May.

Sudan is one of the world's leading sesame exporters. Rain-fed crops from Gedaref, Sennar, Blue Nile and Kordofan are harvested from October to December and cleaned for export through the following months.

We supply white and mixed natural sesame, machine-cleaned or Sortex-cleaned to your purity requirement, for tahini makers, oil crushers, bakeries and snack producers. Hulled sesame is available on request.

Ethiopia is the birthplace of Arabica, and its regional coffees are some of the most sought after in the specialty trade. We source green coffee through licensed Ethiopian exporters and ship through Djibouti or by the route that suits your destination.

Washed and natural processes are available across specialty and commercial grades. Every contract includes a pre-shipment sample for your cupping and approval.

Sudanese hibiscus is prized for its deep red colour and strong acidity. We export dried calyces from Kordofan and Darfur for herbal tea blenders, beverage makers and natural colour producers.
